Ray Hassett De-Escalation / Connection Training

Real-life Skills for Reading Behaviors, Resolving Conflicts, Reducing Violence, Staying Safe

Having the desire to contribute – to truly make a difference – is at the heart of every community-based group. But it’s not enough. Knowing how to build trust, de-escalate tensions and effectively communicate are necessary skills in order to best engage those you serve and push your mission forward.

Whether you work with a non-profit, civic organization, veteran's group, political or activist coalition, you’ll likely be dealing with complex relationships, previous experiences, traumas, mental and physical limitations – any number of challenging influences.

Connecting and rapport building is complex with myriad emotions, personalities, outlooks and expectations. To build trust with empathy for each other, and the community you serve, is one of the most difficult aspects of any organization. Our training will help your members build and maintain trust while identifying conflicts before a situation escalates, helping them and those you serve to feel more engaged, inspired and committed to your mission.
